ActivIdentity Customer Service is dedicated to providing the highest level of Software Support by offering a low TCO in terms of both Administration and the end user experience. Customer Service prides itself on providing Support via highly trained and experienced Engineers, technical excellence and timely and regular communication.


Overview
Software Maintenance grants customers access to ActivIdentity software updates and upgrades. Maintenance is available for each ActivIdentity software product. For example, customers who purchase an ActivClient user license may purchase ActivClient - Maintenance. Software updates include hot fixes to address site specific products issues and periodic patch releases that contain one or more defect repairs. Software upgrades include access to new major releases of ActivIdentity products, containing a number of significant feature enhancements.

    Customers have access to the latest ActivIdentity technology, including new product features and new hardware support.
  • Stability and predictability.
    Timely installation of the latest product releases eliminates known problems before they arise and enhances system stability.
  • Higher Investment return.
    By maintaining subscriptions, customers reduce or eliminate the costs of software license upgrades in the future.

Terms

  • One-Year Subscription.
    Maintenance is a 12-month subscription, purchased separately for each product.
  • Extended Warranty.
    The ActivIdentity warranty period for all software-based product purchases is 90 days. Customers may obtain maintenance at the time of purchase, or within the warranty period based on the original software purchase price.
  • Volume Pricing.
    Maintenance pricing is a function of the volume adjusted software license MSRP.
  • Maintenance includes ActivIdentity Support.
    ActivIdentity only provides direct Support to Authorized Channel Partners and Direct Customers.
  • Authorized Contacts.
    End-Customer information including Company Name, Contact Details and Maintenance status must be provided to ActivIdentity Customer Service in order to receive support.
  • Renewal.
    Maintenance subscription renewal is annual, at then-current pricing. For subscriptions that have expired, the renewed subscription will begin at the end of the previous subscription.

  • Defect identification, confirmation and resolution via the Sustaining Engineering Team
  • Enhancement identification and tracking via Product Management
  • Assistance with network deployments
  • Assistance with Application and System integration
  • Assistance with directory migration and client upgrades
  • Best practice advice
  • Return Merchandise Authorizations
