ActivIdentity DisplayCard Tokens
Thin, flexible design for one-time password authentication
|
For organizations desiring the latest in user-friendly strong authentication, ActivIdentity DisplayCard and ActivIdentity Smart DisplayCard are credit card-sized solutions that fit easily into a wallet or purse ready when needed to generate and display on the card a one time password (OTP). Whether used as a consumer authentication device for online banking or for remote access by an organization’s employee base, ActivIdentity DisplayCard technology is customizable to your organization’s needs. |
 |
Key features
Users press a single button on the DisplayCard to generate a password that is valid for only one login.
One-time password authentication is based on Open Authentication (OATH) standards.
When deployed with a server-side PIN, facilitates two-factor authentication, based on“something you have (a DisplayCard) and something you know (a PIN).

- Provides the security of a token in a convenient card format.
- Aids mobility as no card reader is needed to generate the dynamic onetime password.
Smart DisplayCard
- Combines the security of a token with PKI features for online authentication in a smart card form factor.
- Comes embedded with a smart chip supporting standard smart card PKI capabilities such as email encryption and digital signatures.
- Supports multiple user authentication modes: connected smartcard mode for corporate issued machines or disconnected DisplayCard mode for authentication using a kiosk or mobile device.
Authentication & Device Management
- Actividentity 4TRESS Authentication Server or 4TRESS AAA Server validate one-time passwords generated by DisplayCard or Smart DisplayCard and grants the user access to online services.
- User and device management are performed centrally for increased efficiency.
- Device Lifecycle Management of DisplayCard includes user assignment, device unlock, and PIN management.
Eases Deployment
- Supports deployment through established card distribution channels (i.e. Credit and Debit Cards) with ISO standard cards.
